crazy eights 8
Favorite TV shows... (I don't really watch that much TV . . . we're kind of old-fashioned - and just have a $1 antenna that anthony found at a dollar store 4 years ago . . . we get our standard 10 channels . . . I figured Anthony - being an antenna engineer - could have rigged us something up a little cooler - at least get 20 channels . . . but it meets our needs :) )
1 - Charlie Rose (kinda nerdy - I know - but he seriously has the most interesting people on his show)
2 - Lost (at least the 1st season - I got kinda lost after that - no pun intended :))
3 - The Office (OK - I've actually only watched probably . . . hmm - OK one full episode - but it was really funny!)
4 - SuperNanny - I like to tune into this while Anthony's at mutual on Wednesday nights. She has such great ideas - plus seeing families who struggle so much makes me feel better about the times when I struggle
5 - Barney - 10:00 in the morning I get a half-hour to myself!
6 - Sesame Street - same reason as number 5
7 - Are you smarter than a 5th grader?
8 - Don't Forget the Lyrics!

1 - Village Inn
2 - Outback Steakhouse
3 - Chili's

8 things that happened yesterday . . .
1 - Talked to Melissa about watching the kiddos between conference because I had an eye appointment (Anthony had to go into work on a Saturday) - thanks Melissa! You're always a life saver.
2 - Listened to General Conference . . . Pres. Monson announced 5 new temples!
3 - Fed the kids leftover pizza for lunch
4 - Dropped the kids off at Melissa's
5 - Went to my eye appointment . . . and left feeling a little annoyed - the doctor seemed more like a saleswoman than a doctor - amid other things - told me that she would never put anything but a brand name solution into her eyes and that my choice of using WalMart equate brand might have dire consequences.
6 - Watched afternoon conference session . . . really enjoyed the primary choir and the descant on the last verse of We Thank Thee Oh God for a Prophet. My computer stream was skipping during this last song - and so I got a chopped up version - but it was beautiful!
7 - Talked to Carrie on the phone - she was trying to find Mom's recipe for her Ramen Noodle Chicken Salad . . . I didn't have it.
8 - Took the kids to the Broomfield PlayPark while Anthony was at Priesthood session of conference.

I have to agree with you about the eye doctor thing. Last time I went in, the doctor was annoyed that I was using a generic contact solution. GRRR!
How close is Nicole to you?
Megan
Hey Megan! She moved up to Evans area . . . about 45 minutes north of where we live. I used to make that drive 3 times a week when I did a semester up in Greeley . . . but I haven't been up there for awhile. Anyway - I'm excited she moved so close!
Grandma Erickson's breakfasts TOTALLY count!
