So last month Anthony and I decided last minute that we were going to go to Utah and see Carrie, Dan, and Holly and meet Holly's new fiance - Robert. It was so delightful! And relaxing. Here you can see Rob and Holly absorbing the conference messages :). I was able to visit Carrie's classroom on Friday afternoon and see her in action! What a treat - she's an amazing teacher. I filed some of her classroom management tricks in the back of my brain for use in primary and nursery. It was just such a fun weekend - aside from Carter being a bit sick . . . maybe a bit is too mild a word. He was very sick. He started throwing up about 5 hours into our drive - he got some sort of stomach flu. We were worried about hydration for awhile - but by the end of our trip, he was back to himself. Anyway - it was a fun weekend - and so great to meet our future brother-in-law. We're excited to have him as part of the family!

Oh, that was SO FUN to see you in Utah for conference weekend. I'm so glad you came out, and that you got to meet Hal, even though we were a little sleepy...
